Log in to the dashboard.

Select the appropriate project from the drop down menu at the top left.

• On the Project tab, Clink on the Compute tab
• Click on the Instances category.
• Click on the required instance from which to create a snapshot.
• In the Overview tab, Click the first volume under Volumes Attached and in the actions drop down menu, click Create Snapshot.
• In the Create Snapshot dialog box, enter a name for the snapshot, and click Create Volume Snapshot (Force).

To view the Genrated Snapshot and launch instance:

• Click on the Volumes from left pan.
• Click on Volume Snapshots tab to show the newly created instance volume snapshots.
• Click on the actions drop down menu, Select Launch as Instance.
